Ellansé Dermal Filler contours and regenerates the lost volume through the body’s own natural processes rather than just adding volume directly. Collagen is a very important protein, that keeps the skin elastic, firm and youthful. As the skin matures, the level of collagen starts to reduce. Ellansé can prevent collagen loss and the formation of aging signs like wrinkles and skin laxity.

Ellansé continues to trigger the production of collagen for almost 4 years, which is much longer than other fillers. It consists of 2 important ingredients – Polycaprolactone (PCL) which restores the volume or better contours immediately and then dissolves after 3 months, while the other ingredient, Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) carrier gel, triggers the production of collagen and maintains this newly restored volume or contours. Basically, when the first ingredient breaks down and disappears, the body is left with a natural product in the skin.

    • WHAT DOES ELLANSÉ TREATMENT INCLUDE?

      Before the treatment, the patient is consulted with Lucia Clinic’s skin specialist, who examines the patient's face and determines if this treatment is suitable for his/her skin concerns. If yes, then the specialist asks the patient about his/her previous medical history and creates a customized treatment plan that will address the patient’s specific needs and expectations. The treatment plan includes the areas on the face where Ellansé Dermal Filler will be injected.

      Then the skin specialist cleans the patient’s face and injects Ellansé filler into the predetermined areas. The patient’s skin is immediately more hydrated and smoother. The treatment is minimally uncomfortable, but if necessary, a local anesthetic can be applied.

      The treatment is quick and straightforward. It can last between 30 minutes and an hour.

      Only one treatment session is necessary for facial volume restoration.
